September 25, 2015: Electronics Recycling Day
Sponsored by Fusion IT
Electronic waste is a growing concern to our community and environment. In 2014, Ottawa County produced over 40,800 pounds of electronic waste alone!
When dumped in landfills, e-waste can leak harmful toxins into our soil and water. It is time for you to help make a difference!
During our Electronics Recycling Day on September 25, you can properly dispose of your obsolete or non-working electronic items, such as cell phones, radios, microwaves, VCRs circuit boards, and more*. We will even guarantee data security of all computer hard drives. (There is a $30 charge, though, to wipe your drive clean, with larger quantities prearranged and subject to a discount.)
Come join us all day at the PADNOS recycling trailer. Not only will you be helping save our environment, you will also have some fun and food with your neighbors as we draw prizes for attending participants at 10AM and 2PM! Prizes include a free month of managed IT services, a free IT security and cost reduction assessment, and a chance to win an ASUS Notebook T100 for one lucky company representative who attends!
For more information, please contact us at 616.855.4950. We hope to see you there with your unusable and outdated electronics in hand!
