In June 2015, Fusion IT representatives joined Grand Rapids Children’s Museum for their Discovery Studio event. Children of various ages were invited to discover, hands on, how things work in a range of fields, including technology, science, engineering and mathematics. Jason Petoskey, Chris Cuatt, Mike VanderMeer and Lora Nickel oversaw tables laden with old computers, mice and keyboards. They assisted the kids as they took the old equipment apart and asked questions along with teaching them the necessary safety steps such as wearing gloves and protective eyewear. Both Fusion IT and the kids had a blast! You’ll see us there again at this year’s event on May 21, 2016. A big Thank You to the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum for putting on this delightful event!
